In the Philippines , Christmas is the most awaited events by the Filipinos. All people prepare for this. They buy gifts, they prepare so much foods and they are placing a Christmas tree in their house. They say that the longest Christmas celebration can be found in Philippines. We are celebrating Christmas to remember the birth of our savior Jesus Christ.
Our family is like other Filipinos we do also what others did. I can say during Christmas I was very excited because of the gifts and because of the visitors we will entertain. In our family tradition we were attending “simbang gabi” and we always listen to the good gospel. The children sang a Christmas carols in every house.And they say that the Filipino tradition will not be complete if you didn’t eat puto bom bong at bibingka. Then we watched the nativity of Jesus Christ. Then in the 24th of December , we prepare our food for our media noche . And In the midnight of it we give our gifts and we open it.
We Should always remember that we are celebrating Christmas because of Christ birth. We should give praise to Him always and we should know that He is the reason why we live in this world.
